Hearth & Home Technologies is looking for aBusiness Analyst Operations Technology to join our Fireplaces Business Unit inLake City, MN. We are the nation’s leading manufacturer and supplier of hearth products, including a wide variety of gas, electric, wood and pellet burning fireplaces, inserts, stoves, and accessories. The Fireplaces Business Unit is one of our key business units within Hearth & Home Technologies, featuring leading brands such as Heat & Glo, Majestic, Heatilator, and more. This business unit is dedicated to advancing fireplace technology and design, reflecting our commitment to exceptional quality and comfort.

Responsibilities 

  • Support the digital transformation initiatives across sites by implementing, managing, and troubleshooting Operations Technology solutions
  • Implement reliable, scalable solutions that improve efficiency, equipment performance, and additional benefits based on the technology identified
  • Develop solutions to automate tasks, create custom functions, improve visualizations, and streamline data processes
  • Proactively test and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve automation, efficiency, and data integration, working closely with the engineering team around implementation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pilot emerging solutions and ensuring they align with operational goals and safety standards

Required Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of BMS and SCADA applications
  • Experience with energy management concepts 
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis  
  • Understanding of facility systems including HVAC, utilities, and industrial equipment
  • Ability to interpret and apply control strategies and system logic
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results independently
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Self-directed, detailed orientated in completing tasks
  • Able to work under pressure, adapt to changing work efforts and manage the impact of shifting priorities
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with project management tools and strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, to build strong teams, and to interact with all organizational levels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience in automation and Operations Technology systems
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial facility environments
