Manufacturing Engineer
Description
- Managing small to large scale projects to achieve timely improvements to SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) metrics.
- Drive facility’s lean culture by supporting business process improvements through Continuous Improvement events.
- Assess and eliminate safety risks in the manufacturing environment and drive improvements to ergonomics throughout the production process.
- Establish production run rates, balance standard work, create smooth flow of material and finished product.
- Improve product quality by building quality control and mistake-proofing into the manufacturing process.
- Drive cost reduction through improved labor efficiency, improved material utilization, reduced defect rates
- Implement product changes through ECO process and support new product launches.
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-2 years of related experience
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, primarily Excel, Project, Outlook, & AutoCAD
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
