Pricing Manager
Description
- Lead the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company‑wide pricing strategy.
- Manage annual price change execution across multiple business units.
- Build and maintain pricing models and guidelines that support margin improvement, channel health, and go‑to‑market success.
- Oversee customer price management, new product development pricing, and price change execution processes.
- Identify and capture incremental pricing value through data‑driven insights and process optimization.
- Evaluate and enhance customer‑facing pricing tools to support competitive advantage.
- Communicate pricing insights, strategy, and performance to senior leadership, sales, marketing, and business unit teams.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and supply chain on cost‑to‑serve analysis, margin optimization, and new product pricing.
- Work with business unit and sales leaders to prevent and resolve channel conflicts.
- Provide financial analysis and guidance for national builder agreements and new business opportunities.
- Facilitate and maintain required delegation of authority approvals.
- Manage and report on organization‑wide pricing performance.
- Own national account financial models and freight revenue programs.
- Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for business leaders.
- Lead, coach, and develop one direct report, fostering analytical rigor and professional growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6–8 years of progressively responsible experience in finance, pricing, or a related analytical field.
- Experience with pricing strategy, competitive analysis, and sensitivity modeling.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
- Ability to interpret complex data across multiple business systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Experience using Salesforce CRM and reporting.
- Experience leading pricing strategy for multi‑channel or multi‑unit organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross‑functional alignment and influence decision‑making.
- Background supporting new product launches or go‑to‑market initiatives.
- Familiarity with cost‑to‑serve analysis and margin optimization.
