Position Summary
The Vice President, Health System Sales (ACO, Provider Groups, IDN) will be an individual contributor responsible for helping lead Healthmap’s Health System vertical. This role drives incremental revenue growth to support fiscal year growth targets by creating, nurturing, growing, and securing client partnerships. This individual will also be a thought leader for new go-to-market strategies to ensure maximizing incremental revenue growth through Health System partnerships. The candidate will uncover the unique needs of prospective clients, identify, and qualify areas of opportunity, and own the sales cycle. This person will be a key sales leader that will work cross-functionally with external and internal stakeholders to develop and drive sales strategy for Health System clients. As the main point of contact for Healthmap, this person must bring a full understanding of value-based care and funding models across all product segments.

Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect, build relationships, and secure contracts with Health System clients.
  • Lead business development meetings and cultivate interest among senior-level contacts for prospects
  • Manage the development and submission of detailed customer proposals in response to customer RFPs and RFIs.
  • As the owner of Health System sales, brings deals through the sales cycle to successful awarded business.
  • Develop sales metrics that align with broader organizational goals.
  • Establish sales pipeline activity to stack high volumes of targets/prospects.
  • Meet or exceed budgeted sales targets.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a 5-day a week salesperson recognizing quality and quantity
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6+ years of sales experience in the medical benefits industry.
  • 6+ years of meeting or exceeding sales goals/targets.
  • At least 5 years of experience selling to Health System Value-based providers
  • Expertise in health benefits sales, including sales cycles, timelines, and key client decision-makers
  • Ability to maintain strong internal and external relationships
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proof of full covid-19 vaccination
      Preferred
      -  Master's Degree
      -  Ability to manage multiple stakeholder priorities and organize around a common goal
      -  Experience with value-based care and risk contracting
