Position Summary
The Product Manager supports the product’s fundamental value proposition, outlines vision and execution plan, gains alignment and support from key strategic partners and stakeholders. This role will involve imagining, developing, and managing a suite of digital health solutions e.g., omnichannel platform including a texting platform, web portal, and mobile app, designed to support CKD patients throughout their care journey. The Product Manager also ensures that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals – ensuring that our products become consistently more effective, efficient, and innovative. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in product management, digital health technologies, and patient-centered design, as well as experience in building both AI-powered chatbots and clinician-staffed chat platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Set and communicate clear technology and service roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions across audiences from the product team to executive levels
  • Coordinate cross-functionally across the different functional groups (e.g., Data Science, Growth, Clinical Operations, etc.) to execute on product vision with both technology and service operations with end-to-end accountability.
  • Actively anticipate future needs and utilize metrics and qualitative input to identify asset improvement opportunities and guide algorithms modeling
  • Represent the product through the creation of product guardrails and governance to ensure operational features work and are maintained in future applications
  • Gather requirements across stakeholders to identify and drive both cross-product and cross-customer value and shared learnings on a consistent basis
  • Guide Agile end-to-end developments in the product life cycle; owns the product backlog and uses input from internal partner teams to frequently refresh and re-prioritize the backlog
  • Determine how changes to the product will affect the business and systems and provides recommendations regarding the evolution of the system
  • Lead the development of Minimal Viable Products (MVPs) and pilots for our population health management platform

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of Five years experience in product and/ or consulting which includes:
    • Three years working with design thinking, software lifecycle. Experience with end-to-end product management lifecycle
    • Two to three years as an Associate Product Manager, Business Analyst, or product adjacent experience
  • Experience in Healthcare – specifically in Population Health management, Kidney Care, or Consumer Health Tech
  • Strong technical understanding to be able to work with Engineering and Data Science teams
  • Ability to navigate through situations to ensure the most robust and pragmatic solutions
