Position Summary
The Data Architect is responsible for designing data infrastructure to extract and organize for authorized individuals to access. Their duties include identifying internal and external data sources, collaborating with department heads to determine their data storage and organizational needs and using the information to create and maintain data infrastructure for employees.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying installation solutions for new databases
  • Determining the requirements for new databases
  • Publishing and/or presenting design reports
  • Identifying areas of improvement in current systems
  • Coordinating with other team members to reach project milestones and deadlines
  • Auditing database regularly to maintain quality
  • Create systems to keep data secure and compliant
  • Ensure best practices in data management are being followed
  • Track work progress and report status via issue tracking system
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Advanced experience SQL Server (2016 or 2019 preferred)
  • Advanced experience with MySQL
  • Experience developing SQL queries and stored procedures
  • Experience with Data Modeling
  • Experience with developing and maintaining Process maps
  • Experience with AWS strongly preferred
  • Health care experience is preferred
Skills
  • Excellent verbal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms
  • Dedicated, hardworking employee who achieves maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Strong knowledge of domain-based design, data modeling and data structures
  • Strong knowledge of best practice in data management
