Position Summary
The Regional Director, Clinical Services is responsible for leading regional strategies that drive member health outcomes, client performance, and operational excellence. This role partners with senior leadership to ensure effective execution of Member and Provider Service programs, delivering on key performance, quality, and engagement metrics.
This position requires a leader who can translate strategy into execution through strong leadership of managers and teams. The Regional Director is accountable for developing high-performing leaders, driving consistent performance management practices, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop regional managers, ensuring accountability for team performance, engagement, and outcomes
- Establish and reinforce a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and results
- Drive consistent performance management practices, including coaching, feedback, and addressing underperformance
- Ensure managers are effectively leading their teams and meeting expectations related to member and provider engagement
- Build leadership capability within the region to support scalability and long-term organizational success
Operational and Business Performance
- Direct regional operations in partnership with senior leadership to ensure achievement of performance, financial, and engagement targets
- Translate organizational strategy into operational execution through managers and teams
- Monitor KPIs to evaluate performance, identify trends, and drive targeted improvements
- Implement strategies to improve healthcare delivery, operational efficiency, and member outcomes
- Drive accountability for results through structured follow-up, performance reviews, and data-driven decision-making
Provider & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and manage relationships with healthcare providers to support onboarding, engagement, and performance objectives
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of business priorities
- Collaborate across regions to drive consistency, share best practices, and achieve enterprise-wide goals
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
- Contribute to the development and implementation of standardized operating processes to improve efficiency and scalability
- Identify operational challenges and implement sustainable solutions to improve performance
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational policies
Strategic Execution & Organizational Support
- Support regional and organizational planning efforts through data analysis and operational insights
- Participate in talent acquisition and workforce planning initiatives
- Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement
- Support meetings, trainings, and operational initiatives as needed
- Travel within assigned region and to corporate headquarters as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Active RN license preferred
- 10+ years healthcare operations or clinical services experience
- 5+ years leadership experience managing managers
- Demonstrated success achieving operational and financial targets
- Experience leading through change and evolving priorities
- Experience with performance management, coaching, and addressing underperformance
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and residence within assigned area

- Familiarity with EMRs or care management platforms
- Multi-market or regional leadership experience
Moderate Travel, up to 15% of the time. Ability to work outside of standard business hours as needed.
