Position Summary
The Senior Product Manager will lead the charge in both enhancing our existing clinical platform and developing a groundbreaking new platform focused on population health management and care coordination. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage the ongoing improvement of our current offerings while simultaneously driving the development of a new solution. Orchestrate the transition and cutover strategies to ensure seamless adoption and minimal disruption, crafting a path forward that leverages the best of both platforms. Our platform will leverage the latest in technology to provide comprehensive, real-time insights into patient populations, support proactive care management, and enable seamless communication among healthcare providers. As the Senior Product Manager, you will be at the helm of this transformative project, from conceptualization to launch and beyond, driving product strategy, development, and adoption.

Responsibilities  

  • Lead the creation and maintenance of a detailed, transparent roadmap for both the enhancement of the existing clinical platform and the development of the new platform. Clearly articulate priorities, timelines, and milestones, aligning with the company's strategic objectives and market needs
  • Spearhead the lifecycle management of both the existing and new clinical platforms, from strategic planning and market research to launch, scaling, and continuous improvement
  • Conduct in-depth market and user research (internal and external) to ensure both the enhancement of the current platform and the development of the new platform meet unmet needs within the healthcare sector
  • Develop and re-imagine the end-to-end journey all key stakeholders (internal and external) for our core Care Coordination system and overall platform
  • Develop a comprehensive transition and cutover strategy (e.g., functionality migration, data migration, end-user migration) from the existing platform to the new platform, ensuring a smooth transition for users and stakeholders with minimal disruption
  • Actively coordinate across all internal and external stakeholders, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, clinical operations, and customers, to ensure alignment with the product roadmap. Facilitate regular updates and feedback sessions to gather input, manage expectations, and keep all parties informed of progress and changes. Partner heavily with technical leadership (CIO and SVPs) to ensure platform and infrastructure development will meet business/ operational needs (in both near-term and long-term)
  • Ensuring alignment in system and processes of our risk stratification algorithms, Care Gap and intervention opportunity identification, clinical care coordination, automated engagement activities, Directed Care Gap Closure, and Performance/ tracking. Forecasting all different functions and capabilities and create a seamless end-user experience
  • Craft and communicate a compelling product vision that encompasses both maintaining and enhancing the current platform while innovating with the new platform, securing buy-in from all levels of the organization
  • Establish, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators for both platforms to guide strategic decisions and product evolution
  • Prioritize development initiatives and feature enhancements across both platforms, balancing immediate needs with long-term strategic goals. Guide Agile end-to-end developments in the product life cycle; owns the product backlog and uses input from internal partner teams to frequently refresh and re-prioritize the backlog
  • Oversee the management and governance of platform and assets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Informatics, or a related field
  • Six years experience in product and/or consulting which includes: Three years working with design thinking, software lifecycle. Experience with end-to-end product management lifecycle and three years as Product Manager, Business Analyst, or product adjacent experience
  • Proven knowledge of event-driven architecture and familiarity with medallion architecture (bronze, silver, gold) concepts, demonstrating the ability to leverage these approaches to enhance platform scalability, resilience, and functionality
  • Healthcare and population health management experience, including understanding health systems, patient care processes, epidemiology, public health concerns, and regulatory environments
  • Understanding the needs and behaviors of various stakeholders in the healthcare system, such as patients, healthcare providers, and payers. This involves employing user-centric design principles to create solutions that are accessible and valuable to end-users
  • Understanding of business models, market dynamics, and financial aspects relevant to healthcare technology products
