Revenue Cycle Administrative Assistant

Summary/Overview

The Revenue Cycle Administrative Assistant Reporting directly to the Revenue Cycle Manager, will assist with revenue and billing operations within their scope. This may include running reports, opening billing related and process it, accordingly, doing bank paperwork, etc. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sort and distribute mail forwarded to the Revenue Cycle Team.
  • Download Lockbox information from the bank website.
  • Review and distribute Lockbox correspondence.
  • Scan manual deposit documents to Shared Drive.
  • Run insurance and patient credit cards
  • Pull EOBs from payer websites for the cash posting team.
  • Assist with ERA paperwork to decrease paper EOB’s 

Education & Experience

  • 1 year of Medical office or administrative experience preferred 

Qualifications

  • Detail-oriented, problem solver/analytical, flexible and self-motivated
  • Proficiency with Microsoft (Outlook, Office Word, and Excel)
  • Organized, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Works well independently and in a team setting
  • Ability to type 45+ words per minute

Classification: Non-Exempt

Work Location: Onsite in Sparks, MD

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Day Shift
