What we expect from you
- Full knowledge of the client’s business and account objectives
- Client contact, although not typically the lead day-to-day representative
- Program coordinator and liaison
- Preparation of daily reports on client media coverage, media alerts, letters, case histories and bios
- Solid relationship with the media—understanding their needs and being able to pitch programs
- Coordination of meetings and special events as needed
- Understanding of the PO process, including opening POs and ensuring invoices are processed timely
- Knowledge of Havas PR’s vision, values and structure, including the full range of agency products, services and capabilities
- Active, creative brainstorming in group and team meetings
- Taking observations to recommendations
- Research skills
- Strong writing, editing, listening and verbal skills
- Making timeline and deadline commitments
- Attention to detail and process
- Hands-on project management skills
- Knowing when to elevate project issues and when to solve them

- Background/experience and skills
- One to two years of public relations, marketing or journalism experience
- B.A./B.S. degree in communications, liberal arts, business or marketing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Use of media databases
