Role Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Embedded Linux Software Engineer with hands-on experience in low-level Linux development, hardware bring-up, and C/C++ programming to join our PON devices team.
You will report to the Director of Software Devices, Broadband business unit.

Working at least 3 times a week from the office
What you will be doing:
As part of the role, you will be involved in the following activities:
- Play a key role in developing next-generation PON products, from hardware bring-up all the way to full production
- Work closely with hardware engineers according to SW/HW interface documents
- Design and implement new features in an Embedded environment·
- Collaborate effectively with various R&D teams across hardware, software, and QA.
What you should have:
- B.Sc. in Computer Science / SW engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in C/C++ programming
- Experience in Linux-based systems
- Experience with low-level/HW interfaces like I2C/GPIO, EEPROM, SFP modules, GPIO/sensors, etc.
- Experience with bootloaders (e.g. U-Boot), device trees, board diagnostics
- Experience with Python and Shell scripting
- Proven experience in Networking (e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, Ethernet)
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Linux Kernel & drivers programming - advantage
- Proven experience working in an Agile environment – advantage
