Role Description
We are looking for a Staff SDET to join our team and you will report to the Devices QA Manager, Broadband business unit.
 
Location
Hybrid role – working at 3-4 days a week from our office in Bangalore.
 
What you will be doing:
  • Work with complex embedded systems.
  • Design the automation solution in Python and maintain/improve the solution based on feedback from users
  • Develop in existing automation infrastructure based on Python and improve the infrastructure
  • Mentoring junior level team members : participate in pull request review process, help with hard functionality from product and automation perspective of view
What you should have:
  • BE/ME/MTECH in computer science or electronics or mathematics/Physics
  • 5-10 years of development experience in Python
  •  Basic knowledge in networking (CCNA level)
  • Experience in design and development (OOP, OOD, including principles such as SOLID) – Must
  • Activity Leader/Mentoring  experience in SW automation group
  • Linux knowledge – Advantage
  • Team player , sharing knowledge and striving to achieve team goals
  • High level of interpersonal skills , Ability to communicate effectively
  • Fluent English – Read, write, speak
