QC Receiving Inspection Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY 
Responsible for direct supervision of all Quality Control Team Leaders & Inspectors. Coordinates Daily functions and leads all training. Responsible for tracking attendance for all Subordinates on shift. Also will ensure all rules and regulations are followed. Creates and facilitates all Quality alerts & Sort documentation when required. The roles and responsibilities listed are not meant to be all inclusive. The needs of the company may require individuals to perform other functions. 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS  
  • Coordinate daily functions and training for QC Team Leaders and inspectors.
  • Check the attendance and make necessary manning adjustments to provide adequate support to production. 
  • Develops/maintains communication lines to support the HANON-A Quality Control System
  • Verifies & sign-off on QC Team members training records
  • Verify all reject bins have been emptied and place in non-conforming area at the end of shift. 
  • Communicate any process changes, quality concerns with team members during the shift.
  • Maintain the 5S system (Organization, Clearness, and Standardization.
  • Train team members to updated OJT forms for specified areas.
 
COMPETENCIES 
  • Min two (2) years’ experience as a Quality Team Member
  • Min one (1) year experience working in a QC lab or related quality experience.
  • Competent in use of various measurement tools (calipers, height gages, Micrometer, etc.)
  • Good computer skills (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Good communicative skills both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Computer (MS Office) skills including Excel and Power Point.
  • Ability to effectively present information
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Lifting up to 25 lbs (with assistance).
  Sitting for extended periods.
  Ability to stay focused for extended periods of time.
  Ability to multitask.
  Ability to analyze information, identify problems.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Plant work environment with seasonal fluctuations in temperature (hotter in the summer, cooler in the winter)
  • Exposure to noise and bright lights.
  • Required to wear company-issued personal protective equipment such as steel toe shoes, glasses, gloves, etc.
