POSITION SUMMARY:
The Plant Launch Coordinator is responsible for the customers’ program management, budget planning and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) management. This position will communicate with our South Korean customers in the United States, and to our headquarters in South Korea.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Responsible for Program management with internal team and customer. 
  • Knowledge of HMG AQIS, Ford PPAP process
  • Scheduling (Following with Hanon HPDS and Customer’s development guide) and leading development status
  • Overseeing project management related with customer.
  • Ex. To avoid ADD impact material change etc.
  • Responsible for new & major project CFT meetings and reports to internal management.
  • Weekly meeting / Progress checking / Pending issue
  • Communication with Korea HQ team for HQ functional progress (R&D, ME, PM)
  • Communication with customer for the progress and issue.
  • Delivery of HQ’s project information to internal team and leading internal progress
  • Coordinate between program team and plant internal team to ensure flawless program launches
  • Request and update latest customer information and sharing with internal team.
  • Program timing / Event schedule / Program general information etc.
  • Responsible for Weekly / Monthly report to Plant management.
  • Support and participate in EHS objectives
  • Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERINCE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other major.
    •  (Technical understanding of auto industry product processes)
  • Bilingual (Korean and English) required, oral and written.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role required (Program Management).
  • Computer (MS Office) skills including Excel and Power Point.

TRAVEL:
Periodic travel may be required by car or plane.
