Engineering Change Analyst

Description

Facilitate internal/external changes within the Loudon, TN site ensuring permanent and temporary changes are effectively planned, tracked, implemented, and confirmed to intent.  Focus on transitioning mass production programs into service, service to end of life, and facilitating activities associated with asset management.  
  
Primary Responsibilities  
  • Serve as the Supply Chain representative on all ECO (Engineering Change Order) related tasks.
  • Attend appropriate change related meetings and provide input as required
  • Communicate change documents with suppliers
  • Implement product changes within our MRP system and track inventory consumption.
  • Work with global partners for multi-site related changes
  • Communicate cost impact, implementation timelines and challenges associated with ECO implementation from a Supply Chain perspective 
  • Direct and coordinate all activities related to the vehicle bill of material (BOM) for the daily production: data setups, validations, engineering crosschecks, demand calculations, supplier steering, change management and production information.
  
Years of Experience  
  
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  
 Degree Requirements  
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or High school diploma and equivalent experience
Desired Competencies, Experience, & Qualifications  
  • Familiarity with Change Planning (ECO, ECR, ECN)
  • Familiarity with lean terminology and ideology
  • General operations and manufacturing experience
  • In depth knowledge of Bill of Materials and a SAP super user
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Able to re-set priorities as situations change
  • Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Automotive industry and material planning or program management experience preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills preferred
