Job Description
The Hanon Systems Senior Sales Manager will serve as the direct interface with the assigned OEM customer(s).  This individual must be able to understand the technical nature of our business to represent and sell Hanon System’s portfolio; position the company to take advantage of new opportunities by staying abreast of market activities and customer’s product development plans; and establish clear implementation plans to the level of detail required for the business.
 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Improve bottom line profits on current model programs through fact-based and intelligent claim management.
  • Develop the overall Hanon Strategic Sales Plan for assigned customers in the Americas.
  • Oversee and direct a team of sales managers and sales specialists assigned to the various customer interfaces ensuring complete execution of the sales function in line with customer expectations and corporate objectives
  • Develop meaningful relationships with senior executives at assigned customer on a global basis
  • Generate profitable revenue growth in line with corporate business plans
  • Provide the customer with a cohesive / comprehensive understanding of Hanon’s capabilities.

  • Thermal Energy Management product knowledge is desired, such as HVAC, heat exchangers, compressors, pumps, valves and fluid transport components
Years of Experience
  • 10-15 years of sales experience in the automotive OE or Tier 1 level environment required.
Degree Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering.  MS degree preferred.
 
Special Requirements (i.e.: Overtime, Travel, etc.)
  •  Approximately 10-20% travel, both domestic and international
