POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible to gather and track the stakeholder requirements as inputs to the system requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Analyze customer requirements and manage the Compliance Matrix for the project.
  2. Support in the creation of the system architecture
  3. Evaluation of technical solutions in terms of feasibility, based on applicable norms and standards.
  4. Create requirements and test specifications.
  5. Import Stakeholder requirements in the ALM tool.
  6. Establish and maintain traceability by managing and tracking the exceptions, assumptions and questions between the customer and the E&FP Engineering Team in the ALM tool.
  7. Determination and analysis of system requirements.
  8. Perform system reviews of individual development statuses
  9. Support the development team for system engineering issues; support the users of the requirement management tool
  10. Support engineering in series development and cost-down activities.
  11. Contribute to the further development of the system and requirement engineering and configuration management process
  12. Contribute to change management and defect management

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge and Education

  • Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or comparable
  • Minimum 5 years’ with sound knowledge, in Requirements Management or System Design in the automotive environment
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949, ASPICE, ISO 26262
  • System Modelling knowledge
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English

Skills and Competencies

  • Must be able to relate well / communicate well with people at all levels
  • Ability to discuss and direct technical discussion
  • Ability to prepare and conduct customer presentations on PowerPoint
  • Must be computer literate, with high focus on spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of PTC Integrity/Windchill, PLM, Enterprise Architect, SAP, MS-Office, Catia (desireable)
  • Knowledge of development processes regarding V-Model
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to work successfully as an independent and as part of a team
  • Ability to write clear, concise and accurate engineering reports, which include suitable conclusions and recommendations

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Office environment; occasional travel as required.
