Job Description  
This candidate is responsible for responsible to assist the program purchasing team with the development and launch of various vehicle programs.  Additionally the nominee will develop supplier diversity reporting and submit supplier diversity data to OE’s according to the OE reporting cadence, either monthly or quarterly.  
  
Primary Responsibilities  
  • Monitor tooling, PPAP and IMDS progress
  • Support program phase reviews
  • Maintain costed BOM including tooling
  • Maintain program deliverables via tracking tools
  • Responsible to develop diversity reporting for Hanon Systems in accordance with OE requirements.
  • Review all AP files from each NA plants and identify diversity suppliers in the existing supply base.
  • Identify suppliers that meet diversity requirements and work with them to become certified.
  • Identify if spend is production/non production and which OE it is associated with.
  • Submit monthly/quarterly diversity reporting as required by OE’s.
  • Comply with all OE requests for diversity related data.
  • Obtain diversity certificates from suppliers and/or relevant associations.
Degree Preferred  
  • Sophomore, Junior, or Senior status working towards a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management
Desired Competencies, Experience, & Qualifications  
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work product is critical.
  • Strong data modeling ability using Excel.
  • Previous internship experience in Supply Chain.
  • Ability to multitask and manage several projects and assignments simultaneously.
  • High sense of urgency and commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills; both written and verbal.
