This position will be on-site at the Coclisa Campus in Juarez. Responsibilities will cover all 4 sites in Coclisa - San Lorenzo 2, PDN, Rivereno and Sante Fe.
Job Description
The Sr. Quality Manager – Juarez complex acts as the management representative for the quality improvement effort across the organization. The Sr. Quality Manager has a responsibility and authority to ensure the establishment, implementation and improvement of processes needed for the Hanon Business Operating System. The roles and responsibilities listed are not meant to be all inclusive.
 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Quality KPI Management for all sites located in the Coclisa Complex (San Lorenzo, Santa Fe, PdN, Rivereno)
    • Written Concerns, OEM PPM, 3MIS/12MIS, Warranty Expense
  • Special Focus on Continuous Improvement for Scrap Reduction at all sites within the Coclisa Complex
  • Single-Point Quality Liaison between the Coclisa Complex and Customer
  • Directs and manages the execution of the Hanon Systems Quality Operating System and providing technical assistance and guidance to the Coclisa manufacturing plants.
  • Leads problem solving activities to ensure proper resolution of issues that impacts the customer
  • Ensures corrective actions are properly read across to similar processes to eliminate repeat issues
  • Supports and ensures compliance with the current Hanon Business Operating System.
  • Supports and leads the Americas Customer Quality issue interface
  • Ensures the promotion of customer specific requirements throughout the organization.
  • Establishes monitors and reports to management on quality objectives for the organization.
  • Leads and coordinates the Quality Improvement Activities in the Coclisa Complex.
Years of Experience
  • Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience as a quality manager or engineer required.
Degree Preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
Desired Competencies, Experience, & Qualifications
  • Global / International experience
  • Plant Quality controlling and managing experience.
  • IATF16949 / VDA 6.3 Certification Compliance
  • VDA 19.2 / 19.1 – Technical Cleanliness Standards
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly and directly communicate, both written and verbally.
  • Ability to counsel, guide, and evaluate the work of others in a manner that motivates the achievement of company goals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Working knowledge and experience of climate control components
  • Expert quality system knowledge and system auditing experience
Special Requirements (i.e., Overtime, Travel, etc.)
  •   Domestic and international travel required; overtime required as needed.
