Change Control Coordinator

The Change control Coordinator Contractor is the plant lead for Engineering changes coordination and implementation. Including follow up to ensure timing is met, accuracy of the changes are correctly loaded into ERP system and all training on changes are completed. | ||
Primary Responsibilities: | ||
1) | Follow up on Change control standard process | |
2) | Maintaining timing chart of Engineering Change of both Launch and Current Model. | |
3) | Ensure Deadlines are being met both internally and from Global team | |
4) | Part ordering of New/Changed Components | |
5) | Lead meeting with customers to give updates on change timing. | |
6) | Work in the TCUA (Engeinering Tracking) release change parts and confirm Accuracy | |
7) | Assist in New Model team in product launch | |
8) | Negotiate with supplier and customer on pricing and timing as needed. | |
9) | Special projects as requested by Department Manager | |
Years of Experience: | ||
3- 5 years manufacturing experience in Change control or equivalent. | ||

1) | Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Able to interface effectively with product development, manufacturing locations, and equipment and tooling suppliers. As well as the customers. |
2) | Automotive Assembly experience preferred. |
3) | Strong computer skills of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word. |
4) | Experience working in and or maintain Manufacturing Software (ERP) |
5) | Strong understanding of Bill of Materials BOM |
6) | Ability to Lead a Team for Engineering change from Start to Implementation. |
7) | Product Launch experience. APQP competent. |
8) | Launch and engineering Change component inventory control |
Special Requirements (i.e.: Overtime, Travel, etc.): | |
Ability to Travel internationally and domestically as needed | |
