Job Description and Performance Standards
Title: Patient Access and CBO Training Analyst 339005705
Reports To: Director, CBO and Patient Access
Shift: 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
Status: Full Time
Focuses on all aspects of training on the Soarian Financials systems and the processes for pre-registration, admission/registration, billing, insurance follow-up, customer service, payment posting, self pay follow-up and bad debt processing. This person will interact directly with department Associates, Admissions and CBO management team and staff at various levels within the organization. The primary goal of the training programs will be to eliminate errors, implement consistent processes and improve productivity.
Education: Bachelors Degree in Business or at least 5 years’ experience in a hospital admissions or business office setting.
Experience: 5 or more years’ experience working in a healthcare patient financial services or patient access environment. Prior experience developing and implementing teaching or training curriculums.
Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven intermediate proficiency with Word, Excel and Power Point. Superior planning and organizational skills and the ability to perform duties with minimal direction. Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work a flexible work schedule including some weekends and evenings.

Normal office environment working often sitting at a computer screen. Must be able to get around to various departments and building around HHCS. Must be able to work in an often times stressful environment due to high work volumes and deadlines.
