Job Description and Performance Standards
Title: Tumor Registry Coordinator 554795245
Department: PCI Administration
Reports To: Oncology Service Line Administrator
Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
Status: Full Time
Manages all aspects of registry operations including: staff, database, QA measures, audits, reports, patient follow-up, data submissions and requests, tumor boards, and site surveys according to ACOS standards. Identifies and reports all cases required by the Georgia Comprehensive Cancer Registry; monitors compliance with the ACoS Commission on Cancer Program Standards; coordinates cancer committee meetings; maintains cancer registry resources and files; performs other duties as assigned.
Education: High School Graduate
Licensure: Certified Tumor Registrar through the National Cancer Registrars Association
Experience: 2-3 years in tumor registry services required. Tumor registry coordinator experience preferred.
Skills: communication, medical terminology, typing, computer software experience with MS Office

Works in a typical office setting, prolonged sitting, requires walking up and down stairs, pushing a cart, carrying medical records.
