Department:  Whitfield Place

Reports To:  Senior Vice-President, HHCS

Shift:  8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday with flexible hours as needed

Status:  Full Time

JOB SUMMARY

Manager of Whitfield Place, Inc.; responsible for development, implementation and coordination of all programs at / and associated with Whitfield Place for preparation of and compliance with all budgets and financial responsibilities associated with entity and HUD, maintaining all regulations of both Hamilton Health Care System, Inc. and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Responsible for daily operations of both entities and maintaining positive resident relationships.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:  Undergraduate degree preferred with background in business management and social services.  Housing certifications promoted by HUD should be obtained at or before employment.

Licensure:  None required; however, Certified Housing Manager (CHM), Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) and Senior Housing Specialist (SHS) are recommended.

Experience:  Previous experience in professional housing management preferred; Knowledge of senior citizens, handicapped, and other special needs in reference to housing and ADL; Coordination of activities, programs, and events to enhance residency at entities.

Skills:  Professional management skills necessary to educate and motivate residents and ensure the best possible lifestyle;  Administrative and communication skills required to coordinate resident activities and programs; Professional management skills to direct and control financial and operational status of property in the best possible manner, and to ensure protection of residents and property to the best degree possible.
