Job Description and Performance Standards
Title: Supply Chain Analyst - 558004028
Department: Materials Management
Reports To: Materials Management Director
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Status: Full Time
Duties include conducting and documenting complex financial analysis and data management in regard to the Material Management function. Develops methodologies to prepare analyses to address specific questions, concerns and requests for information. Researches and identifies opportunities, performs analyses, develops solutions and investigates new capabilities utilizing various data sources. Plans and implements supply chain optimization projects. Reviews current methodology and processes for areas of improvement. Works with internal stakeholders to implement identified cost savings. Coordinates special projects and maintains reporting on assigned capital projects. Drives organization toward committed contract compliance through engagement with leaders and other key stakeholders. Serves as subject matter expert in multiple systems. Manages Cerner Supply Chain data, performs daily audits, maintains charge master components as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Information Technology or related field.
Experience: 3-5 plus years’ experience in project management, supply chain or financial analytics in a healthcare setting.
Skills: Communicates clearly and effectively. Advanced understanding of supply systems and processes including experience working with inventory management software. Strong analytical aptitude with proven ability to analyze/interpret data. Implements project management methodologies from inception through the project lifecycle’s completion. Expert level proficiency with Microsoft software including an advanced ability to work in Excel.
