Class A CDL Driver- Local
Description
Hackbarth Delivery Service, Inc is a leading logistics and distribution company committed to delivering excellence in service. We take pride in our dedicated team, and we're looking for a CDL Class A Driver to join us in our mission to efficiently handle and distribute goods to our customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver General Dry Van Freight and no touch freight
- Drive 250 - 600 miles per day
Payrate: $1100.00 -1250.00 per week
Requirements:
- Two Years' Line Haul Driver CDL- Class A required!
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Must be able to sort and receive freight.
- Must possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Must have 24 months previous tractor trailer driving experience.
- Must have the ability to read, write and understand English, and perform simple mathematical calculations with mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, road signs, maintain logs, etc.
- Must have the ability to properly operate a handheld device when required.
- Must have working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
- Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance, and extended periods of time.
- Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the US Department of Transportation.
