Box Truck Driver

Hackbarth Delivery Service, Inc is a leading logistics and distribution company committed to delivering excellence in service. We take pride in our dedicated team, and we're looking for an experienced Box Truck Driver to join us in our mission to efficiently handle and distribute goods to our customers.
The driver will be handling retail, wholesale, industrial, and medical supplies (may include installations, servicing, pickups, and deliveries) and this may involve entering residential homes. All routes are 5 days/week with occasional Saturdays.
Available Shift: Monday - Friday 5:00am - 1:00pm with occasional Saturdays and overtime as requested.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a box truck to transport goods to designated locations.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours of service.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and handling deliveries with care.
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a box truck driver or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and occasional weekends.
