Are you an experienced cargo/sprinter van or Sprinter Van driver looking for an independent contractor opportunity? Join our team at Hackbarth Delivery Service and be a part of our growing delivery and transportation business. As an independent contractor, you'll enjoy flexibility, competitive compensation, and the chance to run your own transportation business with our support.

  • Cargo / Sprinter Van: Pay Rate  $ - $500.00 - $1500.00 /Week
  • Vehicle type needed: Sprinter Van Owner/Operator
  • Schedules Available: Monday - Friday starting at 5:00am to 3:00pm. The end time may vary according to the route.
  • Weight: Heaviest piece weighs 50 lbs. May have 3-5 of these per day or more

 

  • Box Truck: Pay Rate  $ - $1000.00 - $1800.00 /Week
  • Vehicle type needed: Box Truck 16' -26 ft
  • Schedules Available: Monday - Friday starting at 5:00am to 3:00pm. The end time may vary according to the route.
  • Weight: Heaviest piece weighs 50 lbs. May have 3-5 of these per day or more

Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate a sprinter van to deliver goods to various destinations.
  • Ensure the secure and timely transport of cargo, following all safety and traffic regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to coordinate deliveries and maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and care.

Qualifications:

  • Must own or lease a Cargo Van or Sprinter Van.
  • Must live within a 30-40 minute radius of the Houston, TX Terminal. 
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in the use of navigational devices.
  • Experience as a sprinter van driver is preferred.
  • Must be over 21.
  • Knowledge of local roads and routes.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy packages (Up to 50lbs).
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
