SUMMARY:

The Administrative Assistant will provide vital administrative support to the VP, Fulfillment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Run and analyze 40+ daily, weekly, and monthly reports, covering all aspects of the business including Finance, Inventory, Freight & Shipping, Distribution, Fulfillment, Metrics & Benchmarking, and client reporting.
  • Manage and maintain extensive metrics data on all Fulfillment groups.
  • Provide administrative support to VP, Fulfillment including phones, travel, meetings, presentations, expense reporting, logistics, etc. Support other senior leadership within Fulfillment as needed.
  • Serve as liaison to various third-party vendors.
  • Execute various ad hoc jobs and projects as needed within Fulfillment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required along with experience working with databases.
  • Ability to work as part of a larger team, as well as being self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
  • Previous administrative experience preferred
  • Demonstrated interest in book publishing
  • Detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
