Lead, Bulk Storage (4:30a-12:30p)
Description
SUMMARY:To ensure product is accurately picked, accounted for, and put away for order in an efficient and timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain the daily workflow of the Bulk Storage Picking area;
- Accurately update and monitor WMS of all movements and changes to stock;
- Train new employees in the department;
- Hand-on supervising: work alongside Equipment Operators and Receivers as needed;
- Update and report daily activities of department to the Bulk Storage Supervisor;
- Provide productivity reports for Equipment Operators;
- Open building and clean up work from previous night;
- Investigate and resolve inventory issues that affect group;
- Assist and make recommendations to improve overall operations;
- Document performance issues so individuals can be held accountable;
- Keep Bulk area neat and orderly;
- Special projects as assigned.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: As assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Bulk operations/Receiving assignments.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 3 years experience in a warehouse environment;
- Proven work record consisting of high productivity;
- Ability to lift 50 pounds;
- Ability to operate Counter Balance, Walkie Rider, Turret Truck, and Order Picker equipment;
- PC skills and familiarity with HBG’s or similar WMS required;
- Familiarity with Radio Frequency technology helpful;
- Experience Leading/Managing product and/or people;
- Good attendance record;
- Ability to work with others;
- Ability to perform multiple tasks;
- Leadership, training, oral and written communications skills required;
- Microsoft Office experience.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent to at least a High School education and 2 years relevant experience.
