CDF Operations Lead (7am to 3pm)

Description

SUMMARY: Coordinates and supports daily operations within the Customer Direct Fulfillment area to ensure high accuracy, timely execution, and achievement of production goals for all customer orders and internal projects.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist Manager in maintaining the Customer Direct Fulfillment area from start to finish of daily operation.
  • Ensure accuracy in all orders.
  • Assist manager in meeting all shipping and internal production schedules ensuring timely completion.
  • Distribute daily work assignments in accordance with established procedures and management direction.
  • Monitor daily workflow and productivity, system performance and provide updates and feedback to manager.
  • Communicate all projected delays, staffing changes, and job assignments to management in a timely manner.
  • Train new hires and temporary employees as required.
  • Support and assist manager with employee feedback.
  • Assist with tracking, maintaining, and documenting inventory and supplies required for daily operations.
  • Provide support in other operational areas based on business need.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

SKILLS REQUIRED: 
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining reports using Microsoft Office products;
  • Demonstrated record of high productivity and strong work performance;
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment;
  • Strong multitasking and organizational abilities;
  • Effective oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to safely operate a counterbalance forklift;
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds;
  • Strong leadership, delegation, documentation, and communication skills;
  • Ability to learn and effectively use a Warehouse Management System (WMS);
  • Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) systems preferred;
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime during peak periods or when operational issues arise.
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent to a high school diploma required; 2-4 years of warehouse experience preferred.
