Role Overview
Hachette Book Group is hiring an EUC Technician to support the deployment, administration, and day-to-day management of enterprise endpoint platforms, Office 365 services, and collaboration technologies. This role partners closely with Infrastructure, Helpdesk, and Security to deliver a consistent, secure, and reliable end-user experience across offices and remote environments.
 
This is a hands-on team role. The EUC Technician will work with other technical teams to resolve endpoint issues, support service improvements, follow established standards, and contribute to shared operational goals. The role is expected to identify recurring problems, communicate findings clearly, and help implement practical solutions with the broader team.
This position reports to the Infrastructure Manager and works closely with Security, Compliance, and Support leaders to support a stable, secure, and effective user environment.

Key Responsibilities
Endpoint Management and Support
  • Support configuration and administration of Microsoft Intune for Windows devices and Jamf Pro for macOS devices.
  • Assist with device lifecycle activities including enrollment, provisioning, compliance checks, patching, and deprovisioning.
  • Help maintain endpoint standards, security settings, and documentation.
  • Monitor device health, compliance, and operational issues, and escalate concerns when needed.
Office 365 Administration
  • Provide support for core O365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and licensing.
  • Assist with user support, issue resolution, and feature rollout activities related to collaboration tools.
  • Follow established policies for access, configuration, and service usage.
Infrastructure and Helpdesk Collaboration
  • Work as part of a team to support endpoint and user technology services across the business.
  • Partner with Infrastructure and Helpdesk teams to resolve escalated issues involving devices, O365, or endpoint management tools.
  • Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and consistent support practices.
  • Identify recurring issues and work with team members to improve processes, standards, and service quality.
  • Support projects that affect end-user computing, including software deployments, hardware refreshes, and policy updates.
Video Conferencing and Collaboration Tools
  • Support and troubleshoot conference room and collaboration technologies including Zoom, Teams Rooms, and related AV equipment.
  • Assist with maintaining a dependable hybrid meeting experience across sites.
  • Document common issues and recommend improvements through the appropriate team channels.
Continuous Improvement and User Support
  • Provide responsive, professional support to users across a range of technical skill levels.
  • Communicate clearly and translate technical issues into language users can understand.
  • Participate in ongoing efforts to improve user experience, endpoint consistency, and support outcomes.
  • Assist in gathering data, trends, and feedback that help the team improve services over time.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 2+ years of IT experience with a focus on end-user support, endpoint administration, or related infrastructure support.
  • Hands-on experience with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro, or similar platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Office 365 administration, especially Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Experience supporting or troubleshooting collaboration or conference room technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to shared goals.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including clear documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in hybrid Mac and Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with basic scripting or automation such as PowerShell, Bash, or similar tools.
  • Exposure to identity, access, and endpoint security controls such as MFA, device compliance, and conditional access.
  • Relevant certifications such as Jamf or Microsoft endpoint administration certifications.

The compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000. Salary can vary based on a number of factors including skills, experience, and location — talk with your recruiter to learn more. There may be times that you will be required (or requested) to work overtime due to the nature of your role or exceptional workload issues or special projects.
