Description

GumGum is seeking a Business Development Manager that will be focusing on growing GumGum's header bidding business by building relationships with digital publishers and networks and increasing our supply. This is a visible, client facing position that requires strong organizational skills, creative thinking, professionalism, and an ability to build trust with senior decision makers at premium digital publishers.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, acquire and grow relationships with publishers to drive overall programmatic revenue and supply relationships for GumGum.

  • Manage all facets of the sales process from pre-sale to close, including ongoing sales consultation and upsells to publishers.

  • Daily high volume email outreach to publishers offering GumGum’s display and video monetization solutions.

  • Ability to exceed performance goals and quotas while managing a book of business.

  • Service oriented approach to customer development with the ability to consistently follow up and see through tasks.

 

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree

  • 1-3 Years experience in an inside sales oriented role.

  • Familiarity with online advertising industry terms, the publisher landscape, advertising concepts and business models.

  • Desire to work in a startup environment.

  • Understanding of publisher implementation methodologies such as header bidding.

  • Strong Deal Closer and a Competitive Mentality

  • Excellent presentation, communication and relationship building skills.

  • Tech Savvy and MS/Google proficiency

  • Salesforce/CRM proficiency
