Office Assistant

GumGum is looking for a vibrant and diligent Office Assistant for our Santa Monica office. The Office Assistant works alongside the Office Manager, is the face of GumGum HQ and a resource of knowledge and support for each department within our company. Our ideal candidate is someone who is highly organized, outgoing, loves working with people and understands the dynamics of a startup. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct calls and maintain office directory.
  • Greet visitors and provide office tours, on occasion.
  • Order and stock weekly office supplies.
  • Assist OM in coordinating monthly office events such as happy hours, birthday parties and socials.
  • Administer all incoming and outgoing deliveries and mail.
  • Coordinate employee visits to our office.
  • Maintain and organize office including storage rooms, kitchen and conference rooms.
  • Support departments with various tasks such as setting up for meetings and ordering lunch. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • Experience working for a startup or small company a plus
  • Strong desire to work within advertising
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of Apple computers and Gmail
  • Positive, outgoing personality
  • Ability to go above and beyond the role
