Description

GumGum, an artificial intelligence company with deep expertise in computer vision with applications in a variety of industries from advertising to professional sports is seeking a Product Marketing Manager.

In this role, the ideal candidate will bring the right combination of business acumen, analytical rigor and communications skills along with their knowledge of the digital media industry and/or automotive, CPG, entertainment or retail industries.

This person will need to understand GumGum’s business needs to drive the go-to-market strategy for a set of existing or new products and features. They’ll set product positioning and strategy, manage product launches, create and deliver sales collateral, gather customer insights to maximize our products' potential.

This role will focus exclusively on our advertising line of products and solutions, and will report to the Director of Product Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the go-to-market plan and strategy, including product messaging and positioning, product launches, packaging and pricing
  • Explore, identify and execute on strategic product growth opportunities
  • Work with Product Management on defining new advertising product priorities to fill any gaps or deliver on growth opportunities
  • Build sales collateral, pitches and case studies to help support the commercialization of new products
  • Conduct market research, competitive research and custom research to support our products’ story and growth opportunities
  • Work cross functionally with product management, product design, marketing, sales and publisher development to bring new products and solutions to fruition

Qualifications

  • Native-level English required
  • MBA from a top academic institution with 6+ years of indirect work experience OR BS with 2-3 years of direct product marketing experience
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills; demonstrated capabilities executing end-to-end quantitative and qualitative research and effectively identifying and interpreting key findings
  • Strong knowledge of media, digital media, measurement, and/or data industries
  • Knowledge of automotive, CPG, entertainment or retail a plus
