Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for an Enterprise Messaging Manager in the Technology Department of our Atlanta and Doral office. We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package. 

Position Summary:

Manager for GT messaging team. Oversees primary mail infrastructure, mail and anti-spam gateway appliances, remote mail access, mobile messaging, and overall security administration of these systems. Manages other messaging team members.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manages all aspects of GT’s Messaging infrastructure and team.
  • Creates and manages implementation plans.
  • Design, manage and administer email security measures such as
    • Email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
    • Spam, Virus and content filtering
    • URL rewriting and Attachment scanning
  • Design, manage and administer all email analysis utilities, tools and processes.
  • Responsible for Email Security Incident response Processes.
  • Design, manage and administer all messaging systems (email, archival, spam, security, instant messaging)
  • Design, manage and administer Internet mail gateways
  • Design, manage and administer remote mail access systems
  • Troubleshoot system issues and perform problem analysis to resolution
  • Document procedures and standards
  • Administer and support Microsoft Active directory as it pertains to Microsoft Exchange
  • Develop and implement access, monitoring, control and documentation
  • Participate in preparing and testing the disaster recovery plan.
  • Provide 24x7 response and assistance for all urgent and related responsibilities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise support to Help Desk and end users.
  • Create, test and manage scripts as needed for management and administration
  • Participate in the on-call rotation process
  • Perform other duties as assigned/required

Skills & Competencies:

  • Expert knowledge of email security and authentication measures (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
  • Significant experience implementing email delivery and security platforms including message/spam filtering, transport threats and vulnerabilities, intrusion detection, antivirus and antimalware
  • Expert knowledge of Exchange 2016 management and troubleshooting
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online Protection and Exchange Online
  • Expert knowledge of MS Active Directory and LDAP
  • Extensive experience with messaging in a large, multi-office WAN environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise Vault email archiving management
  • Expert knowledge of Windows servers and desktop messaging software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to standards and documentation

Qualifications & Prior Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years’ experience managing large enterprise messaging systems.
  • Microsoft Exchange related certifications preferred
  • Previous law firm experience is highly desired, though not required
