Greenberg Traurig, a global law firm, is seeking an exceptional Patent Associate or Agent to join the patent prosecution practice in Boston. Qualified candidates should have at least 1-3 years experience in patent preparation, drafting and prosecution.  We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package. 

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will have experience in patent drafting, U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, IP due diligence, patentability searches, and freedom-to-operate studies.  Strong research, writing and oral advocacy skills are essential.

The candidate will have an excellent academic record, a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications & Prior Experience

Ph.D. degree in molecular biology, biochemistry or equivalent life science degree.  Admission to the USPTO is required.
