Corporate Private Equity - Associate (Mid-Senior Level) - NY
The New York Corporate group is looking for an experienced Associate with a minimum of 4 years of extensive experience in private equity transactions.
Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements and the securities filings and other documentation utilized in complex M&A and private equity transactions and proficiency in the drafting and negotiation of the same. The role requires a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, and a proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment. Strong academic credentials and writing skills are essential.
Additional requirements: General corporate and corporate governance experience, ability to work effectively as part of a team across practice areas, willingness to train junior associates. New York bar admission. Experience with cross-border transactions and representing financial advisors also would be helpful.
