Corporate M&A Associate (Junior - Mid Level) - NY

The New York Corporate group is looking for an experienced Associate with 3-5 years of significant experience in corporate transactions with an emphasis on general M&A work.


Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements and other documentation utilized in private M&A transactions and proficiency in the drafting and negotiation of the same. The role requires a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, and a proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment. Strong academic credentials and writing skills are essential. New York bar admission.


Additional requirements: Well-versed in the mechanics of leading a M&A transaction from inception to closing, experience leading due diligence teams, general corporate and corporate governance experience, ability to work effectively as part of a team across practice areas, willingness to train junior associates.  New York bar admission.  Experience with cross-border transactions and representing financial advisors also would be helpful.
