Greenberg Traurig has an excellent opportunity for a mid-level Associate to join the Corporate Practice of our Houston office with a focus on finance. We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package. Qualifications for this position are:

  • Experience drafting and negotiation of credit agreements, collateral documents, subordination agreements and intercreditor agreements;
  • Solid writing skills;
  • Providing guidance and expert advice to clients on finance transactions, including energy financings, oil & gas financings, cash flow financings, asset-based facilities, acquisition financings and sponsor-led financings; and
  • Ability to be strategic and analytical.

In addition to finance, the position will provide an opportunity to work on acquisition agreements and other documentation common to M&A and private equity transactions. The candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, keen attention to detail, and a proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment. Strong academic credentials, writing skills, and an ability to work effectively as part of a team across practice areas and offices are essential.

Law Review experience preferred. Candidates must be ranked top 25% from a top law school and be in good standing with the TX State Bar.
