JOB SUMMARY

The Project Controls Analyst reports to the Project Controls Manager while supporting the construction division based out of the GSI office located in Honolulu, HI. This position entails analyzing contract documents, schedule/invoices, and ETC/EAC forecast data from multiple systems to assist Operations team with accurate financial analysis reporting. This position involves research, problem solving, and some data analysis.

POTENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Maintain tracking of of revenue and budget of contract award and modifications.

·         Assist in baseline and monthly cost control planning.

·         Monitor project overall status and forecast against baseline plan.

·         Analyze manpower and job costs reports.

·         Administer change management process (budget validation, ITD cost analysis)

·         Determine and track unbilled charges and present findings to Ops and PC Manager.

·         Assist in the development of project controls metrics.

·         Monitor and update various projects reporting database and tracking tools.

·         Communicate with appropriate POCs to fix data issues.

·         Utilize available resources to validate the accuracy of various internal and external deliverables.

·         Monitor accuracy of ETC & EAC forecast and perform variance analysis.

·         Assist in other ad-hoc cost reporting and financial analysis efforts.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.

·         Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.

·         Organizational, verbal and written communication skills a must

·         Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is a must

·         Previous experience with cost accounting on Federal construction projects is an asset.
