Assistant to the VP of Administration

General Services Corporation (GSC) is looking for an Assistant to the VP of Administration in the Richmond area! This role will support the VP of Administration by handling liability and risk related responsibilities such as administering company insurance claims, fact-finding, analyzing, organizing personal injury and property damage Incident Reports, legal actions and Fair Housing complaints. You will also be the main point of contact with insurance companies, attorneys as well as the liaison for our apartment community staff.
Successful candidates should have at least five years of experience as an administrative assistant. Should also be organized and always take initiative. You must thrive in a structured environment and be adaptable to change the prioritization of multiple projects. Be a quick learner with outstanding research abilities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and have extensive knowledge of Word and Excel (use of formulas, pivot tables, etc.), along with the correct use of discretion and confidentiality.
