We are currently recruiting for this position, which offers a salary range of $100,000 to $125,000. This position qualifies for participation in our annual employee bonus program.

Who you are:
You demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing you to collaborate effectively with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Application teams. You are highly organized and detail-oriented, enabling you to manage multiple systems and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Analytical thinking is one of your core strengths. You excel at diagnosing issues, performing root cause analysis, and applying best practices to improve system stability, automation, and security. You are curious by nature and committed to continuous learning as cloud technologies evolve.
Your background includes a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience. You bring hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure, cloud infrastructure, and IT operations, along with a strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code and modern cloud environments.

In short, you will help GS1 US operate, secure, and evolve the cloud and hybrid infrastructure that underpins our mission and services. Your work will directly support platform modernization, operational reliability, and the delivery of scalable, secure solutions across the organization.
Here are a few more details about the role (other duties may be assigned):
Operate and Maintain Cloud Infrastructure
Administer and support Microsoft Azure services, including virtual machines, app services, storage accounts, key vaults, and virtual networks to ensure reliable and secure operations.
Advance Infrastructure as Code
Develop, maintain, and deploy Infrastructure as Code using Bicep templates to enable repeatable, consistent provisioning of cloud resources.
Monitor and Optimize System Performance
Monitor system health and performance using tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other monitoring platforms to proactively identify and resolve issues.
Support Application and Identity Services
Deploy and maintain internal and external applications, ensuring secure integration with Active Directory and single sign-on services.
Strengthen Security and Resilience
Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies, while applying security baselines and best practices across cloud and virtualized environments.
Collaborate Across Technology Teams
Work closely with DevOps and application teams to troubleshoot incidents, support deployments, and serve as Tier 2 infrastructure escalation support.
Provide Operational and On-Call Support
Participate in after-hours and on-call rotations to support alerts, incidents, and critical deployments when needed.
