What you will do:
In short - You will be a key asset to the Community Engagement team. You will assist, spearhead and drive the adoption of GS1 Standards forward for all the communities we serve.
Here are a few other details:
- Collaborate with team members and industry stakeholders to identify issues, trends, developments, gaps, and opportunities.
- Leverage Supply Chain Industry knowledge to support the execution of strategies and deliverables leading to the adoption and implementation of GS1 standards within the retail grocery and foodservice industries.
- Develop and track project plans related to Community Engagement Team Strategies and tactics to support timelines and measures.
- Serve as a primary stakeholder/customer contact for GS1 US engagement within the foodservice and grocery segment to ensure customer needs and expectations are met.
- Build effective relationships and communications to interact with a mix of team members and customers virtually and face-to-face.
- Research and present industry trends and concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develops and manages the project plans related to the team’s strategies including critical paths, resource loading, information tracking, and dashboard creation.
- Advises Community Engagement Team of project risks - schedule or resources and provides alternatives to address risks.
- Create presentations using PowerPoint to help share information with a broader group.
- Lead and manage both project and industry team meetings.
- Supports industry working groups/task group.
- Supports and assists in creating the GS1 Connect agenda and other industry webinars.
- Attends or hosts industry conferences, workshops, or seminars as needed.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from a four-year College or university
- Minimum of 3 years of Food, Beverage, Foodservice, or CPG industry experience
- At least 5 years of Professional experience
- Minimum of 3 years of Supply Chain knowledge
- Regulatory Compliance or Food Safety experience is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of Project Management / Business Process development
- Proficiency in Project Management Tools & Software
- Command of Microsoft Office Tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Airtable
- Effective Presentation / Collaboration skills to extract information and articulate that into a plan
