You hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution, along with a minimum of two years of experience in the Supply Chain industry and at least five years of overall professional experience. Additionally, you have at least two years of experience in project management or business process development and are well-versed in project management tools and software. Your background includes experience in the retail sector. Your strong presentation and collaboration skills empower you to gather information and translate it into actionable plans.
What you will do:
As the Supply Chain Relationship Manager, you are responsible and accountable for planning, facilitating, tracking, and communicating the Community Engagement Team OGSM (Objectives, Goals, Strategies and Measures) deliverables as they relate to the overall Apparel & General Merchandise (AGM) and Supply Chain Visibility (SCV) business plans.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
Collaborate with team members and industry stakeholders to identify issues, trends, developments, gaps, and opportunities within Traceability and other Supply Chain Visibility opportunities as well as how GS1 US and its members can work with the AGM industry to incorporate Standards.
Support the implementation of the strategies and tactics established by the SCV & AGM teams across GS1 US, Global Office and other Member Organizations.
Develop and track project plans related to community engagement team strategies and tactics to support timelines and measures.
Support industry initiatives leading to the adoption and implementation of GS1 Standards within the SCV & AGM work plans.
Research and present industry trends, opportunities and concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.
Develops and manages the project plans related to the team’s strategies and tactics and including workgroup critical paths, information tracking and dashboard creation.
Supports SCV & AGM teams in executing strategies and plans to grow GS1 Standards knowledge and adoption.
Supports industry working groups/task groups for each identified strategy, tactic, program and initiative.
Works with the community engagement team and others to keep projects on schedule, as well as advises the team to “red flags” conveyed but not being appropriately addressed and facilitates communication between team members. Resolution orientated.
Implements and executes a plan for developing a strong knowledge base of GS1 Standards and their potential applications in business processes.
