Who you are: 

You are an exceptional communicator with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. You are adept at managing a diverse array of responsibilities and approach new challenges with enthusiasm and an open mind.

As a critical and creative thinker, you are capable of generating innovative concepts and your natural curiosity fosters a growth-oriented mindset, allowing you to effectively meet deadlines.

You hold a bachelor’s degree or possess equivalent experience in retail or supply chain management.

What you will do: 

  • GS1 Standards Expertise: Develop and maintain deep domain expertise in the GS1 system of standards. This includes staying up to date with the latest developments and understanding the technical aspects of the standards. Share domain expertise to Standards Solutions Consultant team, functional partners and specified engagements. 

  • Global Standards Management: Represent the voice of GS1 US members in the Global Standards Management Process. This involves participating in global discussions, advocating for the needs of members, and contributing to the development of new standards. 

  • Education and Training:  Support the design and delivery of education and training programs. This includes creating training materials, and delivery of training with the E&T team. 

  • Support Tools and Documentation: Provide expertise and develop necessary tools and technical documentation in support of industry implementation.
