As a Summer Intern – Product Management at GS1 US, you will gain hands-on experience supporting real-world product initiatives that enhance customer experience and drive data-informed decisions. You will work closely with the Product Management team and cross-functional partners to support documentation, research, and analysis that shape how our digital solutions evolve.
 
This role offers a unique opportunity to learn by doing. You will contribute to product planning, customer insight analysis, and process improvement efforts while gaining exposure to how products are developed, managed, and brought to market in a collaborative environment.
 
This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence in Ewing, NJ two days per week with a pay of $25/hr.
 
Who you are:
 
You are curious, analytical, and enjoy solving problems by working with both data and documentation. You are comfortable operating within structured processes and take pride in being organized and detail-oriented.
 
You communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing, and are comfortable asking thoughtful questions to better understand business needs. You are self-motivated, able to work independently, and eager to take ownership of your work while learning from experienced product professionals.
 
You have completed at least your second year of a collegiate program and have an interest in product management, business, technology, or a related field. Familiarity with spreadsheets, data entry, or diagramming tools is helpful, and prior exposure to business data systems is a plus.
 
What you will do:
 
In short, you will support GS1 US product initiatives by helping document requirements, analyze customer data, and maintain key product planning materials. Your work will help improve internal processes and contribute to better product outcomes for our users.

Support Product Requirements and Documentation

Gather and document product and technical requirements, create customer workflows, and maintain clear, organized product documentation.
 
Analyze Customer and Product Data

Assist in analyzing customer data and usage analytics to identify patterns, surface insights, and support data-informed decision-making.
 
Maintain Product Plans and Roadmaps

Support the upkeep of project plans and product roadmaps to ensure visibility into priorities, timelines, and progress.
 
Assist with Product Launch Preparation

Contribute to the development of product launch plans and help coordinate documentation and readiness activities.
 
Capture Insights and Improve Processes

Participate in product meetings, summarize key takeaways, support usability feedback reviews and surveys, and document findings that may inform process improvements.
