Location: Charleston, SC
Clearance Requirement: Secret Clearance

Responsibilities:
Primary Duties:
- Primary repairs tech will complete is repairing Navy depth gauges.
- Need to have knowledge of mechanicals pumps and gauges and be able to calibrate and repair them.
- Some of gauges use pneumatics so need knowledge in this area.
- Original manufacturers of depth gauges are Henschel, Dresser and Barton
- Analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot USN electronics and subassemblies down to component level.
Other job responsibilities and duties:
- Provide technical evaluations, diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs of Depot Level Repairables (DLR)
- Provide technical support to resolve Fleet Casualty Reports (CASREP’s)
- Develop/ update testing methods and equipment.
- Develop/ update work instructions for testing electronics.
- Accurately record parts required/ used and hours spent on modules.
Requirements:
- Technical Training in relevant technical field.
- High School Diploma
- Two (2) years of hands-on experience with task specific project
- Must have electronics training from technical school, military school (class A or B electronics or Communications) or 4-year apprentice program.
- Ability to use Multi Meter, Familiar with Spectrum Analyzer and Oscilloscope.
- Ability to use and interpret wiring diagrams and schematic.
- Ability to do soldering.
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance within a reasonable timeframe.
Desired Qualifications:
- Technical/Military training.
- Previous depot level repair experience, Secret Clearance, LabVIEW.
- Previous depot level repair experience.
- Previous Navy experience as Cryptologic technician (CTM), Electronics technician (ET), Aviation support equipment technician (AS), Aviation electrician's mate (AM) rate. Marine MOS 2862 Ground Electronics Systems Maintenance Technician. Similar Air Force or Army job titles or MOS would be acceptable.
