SETA Systems Engineer
Location: Suitland, MD or Ft. Meade, MD
Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI)

With continued growth comes opportunity, and we are currently searching for a SETA Systems Engineer to support our Ft. Meade office.

Responsibilities:

-Technical and programmatic support through the entire project life cycle including concept development, system definition, acquisition planning, system design, development, integration and test, system delivery, and mission operations
-Briefings and reports including technical and programmatic assessments presenting analysis, results, conclusions, and recommendations. Brief USG staff and industry partners, as requested
-Provide oversight for incremental software deliverables
-Identification of requirements and evaluation and analysis of alternatives
-Tailoring of virtual systems and oversight of Waterfall and Agile software development
-Conducting analytical activities and developing technical guidance associated with the development of MBSE architecture and engineering artifacts
-Develop and track software activities and integration
-Understand algorithmic design to product implementation from a SIGINT perspective
-Conduct and evaluation of existing CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
-Provide oversight and leadership to complete the following activities:

  • Integrate and configure static and dynamic analysis tools into pipelines to facilitate codebase analysis and quality reporting
  • Provision test and demonstration environments using infrastructure-as-code as needed by various development teams
  • Write and edit deployment scripts in Python, Bash, or Powershell to copy files to various hosts and initialize software
  • Configure and utilize Docker Server and Terraform to dynamically provision and register GitLab runners to support developer requirements
  • Integrate with existing frameworks to simplify Kubernetes test environment specifications using YAML files
  • Implement environments to introduce network degradation and latency for testing purposes
  • Deploy and maintain a repository server (Nexus or similar) and integrate version management for multiple tools across the organization
  • Implement MBSE principals to support system requirements, design, analysis, verification activities beginning throughout the development and lifecycle of the project

Requirements:
-
Minimum Fifteen (15) years of experience in relevant technical field, to include: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C5ISR requirements. Recognized as an expert of task specific project. Note: Experience may be concurrent
-BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Physical Science.
-Ability to travel 10%

Desired Qualifications:
-Extensive ELINT and SIGINT experience
-Fluency with C++, C, and Python programming languages
-Strong understanding of agile software development, DEVSECOPS, and cloud architecture
-Certified Kubernetes Administrator
-GitLab Certified CI/CD Specialist/Professional
-CompTIA Network+ or CCNA
-Experience with:
  • Sonarqube / Coverity
  • HP Fortify
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • Nexus
  • Dirty Word Search
  • Terraform
