SENIOR ASSOCIATE, SOCIAL COMMERCE
This role is designed to execute commerce social activations within the omni-commerce agency team. The role is responsible for supporting social executed for sales-driving campaigns or retail media activations.

The Senior Associate, Social Commerce will assist in tactical activation and day-to-day media management of social-based activations. You will work alongside commerce strategists to develop social strategy and optimize client social campaigns to achieve business objectives.
This role will be focused on social activations across several retailer media networks and social platforms, including but not limited to Snap, Pinterest, Meta, and TikTok. The role will manage sales-driving campaigns to retailers and direct-to-consumer websites, including campaigns in innovative mediums such as live streaming, in-app checkout, and chat/community selling. The ideal candidate has a paid social planning and buying background, with experience executing/buying on social and retail media platforms.
The role will be supporting the Manager, Social Commerce as we seek to maximize commerce investment for our client accounts. An entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for action and problem-solving is necessary to be successful in this role.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage social media activations across several retailer media networks and social platforms, including but not limited to Snap, Pinterest, Meta, and TikTok.
  • Execute campaign setup, bid recommendations, and budgeting to ensure overall client goal attainment, including the use of bid management technologies where applicable.
  • Optimize client accounts to meet their KPIs and ensure compliance with GroupM's guidelines and best practices.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly campaign performance reports and use historical data and competitive research to identify insights and optimizations.
  • Address technical issues with social campaign serving and proactively identify improvements.
  • Responsible for managing the marketing budget to ensure fiscal responsibility and inspire higher ROI and profitability of social commerce investment.
  • Provide recommended targeting parameters or tactics in partnership with wider Social team.
  • Understand social ad technology, including trafficking, tracking, and ad serving, as well as key drivers of performance on various ecommerce platforms and marketplaces. 
  • Assist with reconciliation, invoicing/billing, trafficking, and mapping data to our internal media campaign management platform.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in biddable performance media execution or paid ecommerce, with a strong preference for paid social execution. 
  • Experience in campaign management and optimization across multiple retail and media platforms (Amazon, Instacart, Walmart, Target, Google, Meta, TikTok, etc.).
  • Strong drive to understand the retail landscape and latest trends in commerce media.
  • Basic analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop insights that inform strategy and optimization. 
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal teams and external partners. 
  • A self-starter attitude that thrives in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Experience across the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $90,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
