We do our best work for brave brands and people who relish being challenged to go further and faster, together.  The Media Buyer is responsible for the overall execution and management of their assigned client’s investment requirements, purchasing and monitoring all assigned campaigns to ensure all objectives are met.

 YOUR IMPACT:

  • Communicate buy changes to vendor reps e.g.: cancellations, shifts, brand changes
  • Maintenance of campaign executions e.g.: pacing, make goods and pre-emption
  • Invoice discrepancy resolution
  • Inputting/uploading campaigns – broadcast and potential digital
  • Generating campaign reports – including pre and post documents, Masterfile
  • Daily campaign maintenance
  • Corporate estimating and posting
  • Execution, confirmation and monitoring of investment buys
  • Leverage proprietary tools and other measurement software to inform decisions impacting client’s video investment

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Driven desire to develop and excel in a media career
  • Strong attention to detail accuracy and mathematical competency is a must
  • Highly developed organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated solid technical and negotiation skills
  • Ability to collaborate within a team
  • Positive, flexible attitude with ability to balance assignments and work under tight deadlines
  • Intermediate proficiency in MediaOcean, InstarTV, LENS and other media related tools
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.

EDUCATION &EXPERIENCE

  • 1-2 years of experience in Investment buying
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Advertising, Marketing, Business or a related field.
